What you will be doing:
This is an exciting and varied role where you will be responsible for managing 4 key areas; people, process, finance and health and safety. You will be managing and supporting 12 shift operators and a day technician who work on a rotating shift pattern covering the site 24/7.  You will also manage day to day operation and performance manage providing reports to stakeholders and ensuring we are maximising green power generation using THP, CHP and Boiler plant on site.

You will be required to ensure the performance and safety of the team is your top priority on a daily basis.

We’re looking for you to:
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to clearly interact with your team and stakeholders across the site and wider business.
  • Have a supportive and inspiring approach to managing a team to ensure they working to the best of their abilities.
  • Previous experience of using SAP and other computer systems is essential.
  • Previous experience working on an operational site would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience managing a budget.
  • Use a Lean Six Sigma approach to manage your workload.
  • Have a passion for renewable energy.
  • You must have managed a team of people
  • Experience working with steam boiler plant is essential.
  • You must hold a qualification in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering bias and hold a health and safety qualification preferably either IOSH and or NEBOSH.
