Quality Engineer

We are currently recruiting for one of our clients based in West Drayton.

This is a pivotal role within the company, with this in mind, please ensure you read the below prior to submitting your CV

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE • Experience in a Quality Role or similar. 
• Knowledge of Quality terminology, methods and tools. 
• Analytical, Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving and decision-making. 

REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION 
• Undergraduate degree or higher national diploma in Engineering or similar, or equivalent relevant experience. 
• Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE or CQA

POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Investigation of reported non-conformances, both internally and externally from customer complaints 
• Development of corrective and preventive actions 
• Assistance to manufacturing departments in resolving concerns and promoting quality. 
• Lead continuous improvement teams & projects. 
• Preparation of quality system documentation. E.g. QCP, flow charts, QA plans, procedures and instructions. 
• Dimensional / process / functional testing and auditing. 
• Support internal audit programme to ISO 9001 and customer requirements. 
• Member of APQP / FMEA / 8D team as required. 
• Any other reasonable action required for the effective function of the Quality Department or the Company as a whole. 
• Comply with all current work instructions within the organisation. 
• Comply fully with all current health, safety & environmental regulations in operation within the company whilst carrying out your duties
