Part time, term time only telephone sales / appointment bookers working for a well established office equipment specialist based in the north of Plymouth. Working Monday to Friday, hours by agreement between 08.30-15.30, 38 weeks per year. The starting salary will be c.£12 per hour.
You will use your experience dealing with businesses over the phone to make contact with existing, lapsed and prospect clients, to identify a requirement for office equipment or furniture and arrange visits for the field sales staff to visit.
As well as working from an existing database, you will also be responsible for new business development including:
• Researching and identifying prospect companies
• Making the first contact with prospect companies
• Identifying the decision maker
• Introducing the company over the phone with an aim to book an appointment for the field sales staff to visit
• Following up leads to build a relationship to lead to a future sales visit/
Candidates must be extremely well spoken with sales or influencing experience from working in a B2B environment. You must also be competent computer user,
The hours will be between 08.30-15.30 by agreement, 5 days per week. Salary is c£12 per hour.
