HGV Class 1 Driver Duties
As a Class 1 Night Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing 2-6 multidrop deliveries per shift.
- Delivering goods safely and on time.
- Roll cage deliveries with some manual handling.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
- Completing delivery paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required.
- £18.00 per hour
- £150 Weekly Bonus
- Estimated earnings of £49,000-£54,000 per year
- Weekly or monthly pay choices
- Holiday pay
- Company pension
- Ongoing, full-time work
- Permanent vacancies available
- Monday to Friday
- No weekend working
- Start times between 18:00 and 20:00
- Average 9-10 hour shifts
- Modern fleet and well-maintained vehicles
- Supportive transport management team
- Immediate starts available
To be considered, you must have:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements
- A professional and reliable approach to work
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
