Company:
Our client, a large company based in East London, is currently seeking multiple 3.5t Van Drivers for an immediate start. This full-time, long-term position offers an opportunity for hardworking, trustworthy individuals who thrive both independently and as part of a team.
- Responsibilities:
- Perform 6-10 drops per day using a 3.5tn LWB van
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of multi-drop driving experience
- Maintain a clean UK manual driving license
- Manoeuvre heavy items within the warehouse environment
- Adapt to changing tasks and workloads efficiently
- Handle manual tasks involving boxes weighing between 15kg to 30kg
- Flexibility with working hours, with shifts typically starting at 7:00am or 8:00am, occasionally starting as early as 5:30am or as late as 9:00am
- Weekly rotation of short and long drops
- Possess a clean, full UK manual driving license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a 3.5tn LWB van.
- Proficiency in warehouse operations, including manoeuvring heavy items
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and lift items weighing up to 25kg
- Flexibility with working hours to accommodate varying shift start times
- Computer proficiency and willingness to undergo Maths and English tests
