The Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our busy pallet distribution operation based in Brimsdown, Enfield.This is a customer-facing role involving the delivery and collection of palletised goods to both residential and commercial properties. Drivers typically start at 08:15 AM and complete two runs per day, carrying out deliveries during the morning and early afternoon before completing customer collections later in the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne curtain-sided vehicle.
  
  
• Deliver palletised goods to residential and commercial addresses.
  
  
• Complete customer collections on behalf of our clients.
  
  
• Operate tail lifts and pump trucks safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy.
  
  
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs accurately.
  
  
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  
  
• Adhere to all transport, health & safety, and company procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid UK C1 (7.5T) Licence.
  
  
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  
  
• Digital Tachograph Card.
  
  
• Previous experience in pallet network or multi-drop delivery work.
  
  
• Competent using:
  
  
  • Tail lifts
    
    
  • Pump trucks
    
    
  • Curtain-sided vehicles
    
    
• Good understanding of safe loading and unloading procedures.
  
  
• Strong time management and communication skills.
  
  
• A professional and customer-focused attitude.
