About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Labourer to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role involving the handling, inspection, counting, and maintenance of formwork and scaffolding equipment. You'll play an important part in ensuring materials are prepared, organised, and ready for customer use.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual handling of formwork and scaffolding materials.
  
  
• Counting and checking equipment in and out of the yard.
  
  
• Inspecting materials for damage and reporting any defects.
  
  
• Carrying out basic maintenance, cleaning, and repairs where required.
  
  
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Organising and storing stock within the yard.
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment.
  
  
• Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.
  
  
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, labouring, or industrial environment is preferred.
  
  
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling.
  
  
• Good attention to detail when counting and inspecting equipment.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  
  
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
  
  
• FLT Counterbalance experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
