Finance Analyst - Hybrid

Sheridan Maine is collaborating with our client who is based in Weymouth to recruit for a Finance Analyst, the successful candidate will join a welcoming and supportive team environment within the finance department.
 
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the flexibility of 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.  Additionally, study support is available for your professional development.
 
Your main responsibilities will include:   

• Assisting with the compilation of reports and accounting.
• Maintenance of the general ledger.
• Processing and recording financial data.
• Working closely with the FP&A team.
• Ensuring accurate and timely posting to give the correct period results.
• Monthly intercompany reconciliations.
• Supporting the year end audit.
• Developing and refining procedures.

 
To be considered for the role of Finance Analyst, you should possess the following skills and experience: 

• Part qualified or studying toward an accounting qualification.
• Intermediate Excel skills for effective data management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience in a similar accounting position.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
