Senior Finance Analyst - Hybrid

Sheridan Maine is proud to partner with a leading west Dorset-based organisation, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation. Our client is seeking a talented Senior Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team.
 
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and providing strategic insights to support decision-making across the organisation.
 
As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will perform a range of month end close and reporting duties to include but not limited to:

• Financial Analysis, Monthly reporting
• Journal preparation and general ledger reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Coordinating the weekly reporting requirements for the business
• Supporting the business with budget and forecast presentations
• Monthly preparation and submission of VAT return and R&D tax calculations 
• Ad hoc support to the Senior Finance team

 
To be considered for the role of Senior Finance Analyst, you will require:

• A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred but not an essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Able to display the gravitas to operate and influence at a senior level.
