Accountant

Sheridan Maine are pleased to be working with a fantastic organisation based in Swindon who are looking for an Accountant to join their head office finance team on an interim basis.
 
Key duties of the role include:

• Supporting with month end close tasks
• Undertaking various reconciliations for banking, expenses, payroll
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate anomalies
• VAT accounting
• Prepare statutory accounts
• Assisting with process improvements within the finance team

 
To be considered for this role you will have a strong technical accounting background, covering statutory accounts and complex reconciliations.  You will also be required to have advanced IT skills and some experience of working with ERP systems. Our client is seeking a hands on individual who enjoys working as part of a friendly team but is also able to work autonomously in their role.
