Audit and Accounts Senior – North West London
Sheridan Maine is working in partnership with a well-established accountancy practice in North West London to recruit an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior.
This is a key hire for the firm, offering a high level of responsibility and autonomy. The successful candidate will take ownership of audits from start to finish and work closely with the Partner, with exposure across audit, accounts, and tax.

Key responsibilities of the Audit & Accounts Senior:
- Lead statutory audits from planning through to completion
- Prepare audit files ready for direct Partner review
- Carry out audit fieldwork, testing, and completion independently
- Support the preparation of company accounts for a range of clients
- Assist with corporation tax and related compliance work
- Work closely with clients, acting as a key point of contact
- ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong background in UK accountancy practice
- Proven experience managing audits from start to finish
- Confident working independently and taking ownership of assignments
- Experience in both audit and accounts preparation
- Good working knowledge of corporate tax compliance
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Competitive salary reflective of experience
- Direct exposure to Partner-level decision making
- Opportunity to play a key role in developing the firm’s audit function
- Broad and varied workload across audit, accounts, and tax
