MINIMUM 6 MONTH CONTRACT
Our client is a manufacturer of high performance PPE equipment and systems based in Surrey. They supply to a vast, global market specialist equipment with a reputation and service second to none. Due to continued success, they are looking to employ a technical documentation writer to compile and create their operations and procedural manuals for the company. Your role will incorporate between being on the shop floor, learning and understanding the step by step processes involved in the manufacturing of a range of equipment. Documenting every step and process in a logical and methodical manner that will be easily understood and adhered to by all members of the departments. Incorporating schematics, diagrams and pictures wherever possible ensuring the document is concise, logical and easy to follow before being incorporated into the company's library for future use. You will already have previous experience in writing these types of documents for a manufacturing environment (ideally from within the engineering realm) and have an excellent understanding of Word, Excel and photo handling/editing packages. You will have to have excellent written and spoken English skills and be just as comfortable walking around and operating on the production/factory floor as you are sitting at a desk and writing and compiling documentation. This is a minimum 6 months contract, with the possibility to be extended or even made permanent. Immediate interviews available.
