A well-established & growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their Operations team based in St Leonards on Sea.
The Role
You’ll manage production schedules across machining & assembly operations, ensuring materials, capacity, and resources are aligned to meet customer demand.
- Create & maintain production schedules across multiple machines/work centres
- Allocate work based on capacity, machine availability, and deadlines
- Manage MRP and monitor open order books
- Raise and track purchase orders for materials and subcontract processes
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and material availability
- Communicate schedule changes and escalate delivery risks
The Person
- Experience in production planning/scheduling within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of MRP and production workflows
- Confident using ERP systems & Excel
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive & a strong communicator
The Package
- Full time, permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday!
- £30,000 - £35,000pa DOE
