Job Description

We are currently working with a highly respected, family-run manufacturing business in Petersfield who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their Purchasing & Planning team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable employer that is widely recognised for its commitment to staff development, wellbeing, and long-term progression. Our client prides itself on being a genuine family-feel business, where every team member’s input is valued equally and no one is ever “just a number”. They are also strongly invested in supporting the local community and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

They are seeking someone with curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn – someone who wants to grow with the business and develop their skills within a supportive environment.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role within the purchasing and planning function, supporting the smooth flow of materials to ensure production and installation schedules are met efficiently.
A comprehensive induction and tailored training programme will be provided, giving you a strong understanding of the business, its products, and its values.

Key Duties:
  • Process daily material requisitions and place supplier orders as required
    • Ensure materials are prepared, organised, and ready for dispatch, including loading for projects and containers
    • Carry out picking duties alongside quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
    • Maintain production records and update project files in line with planning requirements
    • Work closely with the wider team to ensure materials are available to support production schedules and deadlines
    • Provide general support within the yard area when needed

About You:
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively
    • Strong attention to detail, particularly when checking quality and maintaining accurate records
    • A team-focused approach with good communication and collaboration skills
    • Motivated to learn, develop new skills, and take on increasing responsibility

Salary & Benefits
  • Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm
    • £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE)
    • Clear opportunities for progression as skills and responsibilities develop
    • Company pension scheme
    • Cycle to work scheme
    • Discounted gym membership
    • Regular company events
    • On-site parking

If you are looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive, values-driven business where your contribution genuinely matters, we would love to hear from you.
