HR Generalist

We are exclusively representing a highly regarded manufacturing business based in Hastings who are looking to recruit a HR Generalist to join their team. The Role
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is a varied and all-encompassing HR role covering both operational and strategic responsibilities within a busy manufacturing environment:

• Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
• Providing employee relations support and advising managers on HR matters
• Maintaining HR compliance, policies and employee records
• Supporting wider HR operations and workforce planning activities
• Assisting with training and development initiatives for managers and staff
• Involvement in continuous improvement and wider business projects
• Supporting the HR Manager with generalist HR duties across the site

Person specification

• Previous experience in a similar all-rounded HR role
• Ideally experience within SME manufacturing, engineering or production (not essential)
• CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards (desirable)
• Confident supporting employee relations and day-to-day HR queries
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Forward-thinking and keen to develop within a growing business
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varied workload
