Production Operative (Temp-to-Perm) – Crawley – Busy Manufacturer
Location: Crawley (on-site)
Contract type: Temporary, with a clear pathway to permanent employment
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Hours depend on client requirements and shift pattern (days / backshift / nights; full-time)
Start date: Immediate / ASAP

A well-established, high-volume manufacturer in Crawley is looking for reliable Production Operatives to join their busy factory team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a genuine route into a permanent role for candidates who demonstrate strong attendance, quality, and productivity.

You’ll work on fast-paced production lines, supporting the end-to-end manufacturing process in a safety-first environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production machinery and assembly lines to meet daily targets

    • Carry out basic quality checks and complete required documentation

    • Pack, label, and prepare finished goods for dispatch

    • Maintain a clean and safe workstation in line with 5S / housekeeping standards

    • Follow health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times

    • Support team members and flex across tasks as required by the shift leader

What they’re looking for
  • Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or production environment (advantageous but not essential)

    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, repetitive role

    • Strong timekeeping and attendance record

    • Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods

    • Good level of English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)

    • Flexible approach to shifts and overtime when needed
