Production Operative (Night Shift) – Temporary Role
Location: Horsham
Pay: £12.71 per hour + time and a half for night hours
Contract: Temporary – approx. 2 months nights, with potential to move to late shifts afterwards
Start date: Immediate
About the roleWe’re recruiting reliable, hardworking Production Operatives to support our production line on a busy night shift. You’ll be pot feeding and helping the line keep running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Full training is provided.

Shift pattern
- Week 1 – Training:
One week of day shifts to learn the job. Flexible 8‑hour shifts between 05:00-00:00 - From Week 2 – Nights (fixed 4‑night pattern each week):
- Sunday night: 21:30–06:30
- Monday night: 23:30–06:30
- Tuesday night: 23:30–06:30
- Wednesday night: 23:30–06:30
Thursday–Saturday off.
- Sunday night: 21:30–06:30
- Pot feeding and supplying materials to the production line.
- Supporting operatives and keeping the line running to target.
- Basic quality checks and following standard operating procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy work area in line with health & safety and (if applicable) food safety rules.
- Working as part of a team and communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights consistently.
- Comfortable with repetitive, physical work in a factory/production environment.
- Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions.
- Able to work safely and follow procedures.
- Previous production or warehouse experience is useful but not essential – full training is provided.
