What you’ll be doing as a Systems Operations Assurance Analyst
- Working with large and varied datasets, including operational, alarm, event and SCADA configuration data
- Interrogating databases, transforming data and helping improve ways of working across the business
- Supporting control teams and stakeholders by gathering requirements and building dashboards and reports
- Analysing data to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement
- Presenting findings clearly and engagingly to support decision-making
- Continuously improving reporting processes in line with digital best practice
- Collaborating with different teams to ensure data solutions meet business needs
Working hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working available
What you should bring to the role
- Experience in a technical or analytical role, working with data and reporting
- Strong knowledge of databases and programming languages such as SQL and Python
- Experience creating clear and engaging dashboards, ideally using Power BI
- Knowledge of Databricks & Power BI and expertise in statistical languages such as R & data modelling & process automation would be advantageous, but not essential
- Technical understanding of operational technology systems or utility operation.
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities
- This role will be paid from £40,000 up to £50,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
- 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (plus bank holidays)
