HEAD CHEF – C. £40,000 - Live In available – Snowdonia

If you’re a Head Chef or Senior Sous looking for the perfect next role look no further.

Imagine waking up to the beauty of Snowdonia national park on your doorstep.

You will be heading up the Kitchen at an idyllic independent country style hotel that offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner as well as events up to 150 people.
There is a real focus to deliver stand out quality cuisine from local produce and quality suppliers to further increase the standard and accolades accomplished so far.
Working just 4.5 days per week in a modern kitchen with a brigade of 5 chefs in place you will be perfectly positioned to excel not only the Hotels growth but your own also.
The restaurant on average accommodates 35 covers per sitting and there is a real focus on work life balance.

The Ideal Candidate will:
• Have previous Head Chef Experience
• Control and direct the food preparation process
• Manage and work closely with other Chefs of all levels
• Creating new menu items, recipes and develop dishes ensuring variety and quality
• Determining food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering
• Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guideline
• Being responsible for food hygiene practices
• Excellent knowledge of all sections
• Ability to produce excellent high-quality food
• A great communicator
• Team management skills
• Have a high level of attention to detail
• Be enthusiastic to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you
• Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
• Have the ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
• Be positive and approachable manner
• Be a team player
