Job Title: Catering Assistant
Location: London Borough of Harrow, various sites across the borough

Job Description
Supporting the Council's in-house catering team, you will assist in delivering a high-quality, efficient food service across multiple sites, including canteens, hospitality, and Meals on Wheels.
The service provides breakfast, lunch, grab-and-go options, and catering for meetings and events. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused environment requiring teamwork and flexibility.

- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
- Support stock control and check deliveries
- Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
- Operate tills and handle payments
- Provide excellent customer service
Essential
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Customer-focused and friendly
- Basic numeracy for cash handling
- Experience in catering or hospitality
- Food Hygiene Certificate
