We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Salford Priors, near Evesham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical fitting experience who is looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools
- Reading and following assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and work orders
- Fitting, aligning, and securing parts to required specifications
- Conducting quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Reporting faults, defects, or production issues to supervisors
- Assisting with material handling and movement of components around the workshop
- Supporting other manufacturing and production departments when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Adhering to all company procedures and Health & Safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience within an assembly, manufacturing, production, engineering, or mechanical environment
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Ability to follow technical instructions and drawings
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential due to the location
- FLT Counterbalance licence would be advantageous but is not essential
