We are working with one of our partnership schools in Oldham, as they are looking to recruit a Maths graduate to their team. The ideal candidate will be looking to study a Teacher Training (QTS) course in 2018, and, have expert knowledge of Mathematics at Key Stages 3 through to degree.
You will be working between 8.15am - 4pm, and, all staff are expected to immerse themselves in the lively extra-curricular calendar. Staff forge stronger relationships by engaging with students outside the classroom; this is why our school boasts an excellent pastoral support system.
Your work will consist of general classroom support; small group work sessions and providing intensive, 1:1 support for students who either need that little extra guidance, or, need stretching and challenging due to their talents and academic abilities in Mathematics.
This role is to start immediately, and is on a full time basis.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following:
- A passion to make a difference
- A degree in Mathematics, or Mathematics related subject
- A desire to progress onto teacher training in 2018
- Patience to overcome barriers to learning
- Current, up to date references which we can verify
