SEN Teaching Assistant
The Education Network is seeking a dedicated 1-1 SEN teaching assistant to support a visually impaired year 3 pupil in a primary school in the Didsbury area.
The young person also has slight speech and language difficulties and would love someone to support them with their learning and improving their confidence. If you have an interest in sport and music then even better!
As a SEN TA it is vital that you are patient, understanding and compassionate. You will encounter a variety of challenges so it is very important that you can react and use your initiative.
Candidates must have:
Experience with children with similar needs
Previous and referenceable SEN TA experience
Knowledge of visual impairment is desirable
Interest in working with children
A positive and enthusiastic approach
An interest in music and sport is also desirable
