PSHE HLTA required to support and deliver PSHE for two terms
Location - South Manchester
The Education Network is excited to offer a Higher Level Teaching Assistant post at one of our client schools in South Manchester. The successful candidate will be expected to work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction of teaching staff as well as assisting with contribution to teacher lesson plans, delivery and assessment, enabling access to leaning for all students and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques. In this role you will also be expected to manage a team of teaching assistants including deployment and performance management.
The essential criteria for this position is:
- HLTA experience or a desire to deliver and prepare some lessons
- Experience working with children in an educational setting especially SEN
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as being able to take direction
-Be able to work as part of a team, but also be able to manage a classroom
-Differentiate to accommodate the needs of all children and monitor progress
-Knowledge of ASDAN curriculum.
