An exciting opportunity has arisen working for an independent professional company based in the Walsall area, this opening will be working within the Accounts department. We are looking to recruit a Part Time Accounts Assistant with great organisation skills, to assist in all aspects of accounts and purchase ledger.

The responsibilities for this role are;
• Dealing with Purchase and sales Ledger
• Dealing with Credit Control and speaking with respective clients
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with posting letters and demands
• Assist the accounts team with any other accounts or admin duties
• Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets would be highly beneficial
• Bookkeeping and keeping records of financial affairs within the business
• Solve account queries and issues relating to credit control and debt collection

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to multi-task, as this is a busy office environment with a small close knit team

Salary: £8 - 10 per hour
Hours of work: Wednesday and Thursday 9am – 5pm may be flexible to increase up to 3 days

This will be a temporary to permanent position

You ideally would have worked within one of the following roles: Accounting, Finance Accountant, Purchase Ledger Clerk , Credit Control or Bookkeeping
