Pertemps Kettering are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious Kettering based client a professional, dedicated Business Development Executive to work alongside the existing sales team generating new business and achieving sales targets.
The main duties will be as follows:
Achieve and exceed sales targets in accordance with all company procedures and codes of conduct.
Identify sales opportunities and potential customers.
Generate and qualify leads from a variety of sources.
Cold call prospective customers by phone and in person.
Utilise sales pipeline, develop and implement sales activity plans across the month and year. Utilisation of the company database.
Make sales calls to new customers, as well as making and preparing for customer appointments.
Develop and deliver presentations and sample requirements.
Develop and articulate an effective sales proposition.
Develop strong business relationships with customers via a variety of contacts including buyers, marketing, branch personnel, support functions and peers.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and management information as required.
Monitor competitor activity, market conditions, and product development, reporting/escalating key activity, developments and issues as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked for an Asbestos company, be a high performer focussed on results and places emphasis on results over activity and be required to maintain high standards of performance and be able to demonstrate thorough understanding of sales practice and principles. You will also be totally customer & sales focused and have previous experience of working in within a high pressure sales environment.
A company car is available, plus a mobile phone and laptop, and a bonus incentive scheme.
The Hours of work are between 08.00-17.00 Monday to Friday.
