We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Testing Technician to work a fully accredited quality testing department.
 
The main duties of the role include –

• Handling samples and preparing for testing
• Testing samples of furniture, against British, European and international standards
• Communicating with customers
• Predominantly testing of seating items – including sofas, chairs, stools, outdoor seating, educational seating and children’s seating as well as other types of furniture.

The ideal candidate will have GCSE’s or equivalent in the subjects of English, Science and Mathematics at grade C or above.
Experience of testing in a laboratory/workshop would be advantageous must be highly organised, must possess a high level of dexterity as this role is hands on.
Will have experience of working within a testing or quality assurance function, must be comfortable to interact with various diverse organisations and cultures.
Competent with Microsoft Office in particular Excel and Word.
