Warehouse Operative – Chilled and Freezer Environment
Location: Haydock
Shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 or 14:00 – 22:00
Pay: £13.41 AM / £13.92 PM
Start: Immediate
Contract: Temporary

All candidates must pass a drug and alcohol test and a DBS check 

A leading player in the supply chain industry is recruiting multiple Warehouse Operatives for its Haydock Distribution Centre. You will be responsible for helping prepare products and organising stock ready to be dispatched to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in chilled or freezer environments (PPE and additional breaks provided)
• Packing products to the clients specifications
• Picking products using hand scanners
• Loading vehicles for delivery
• Keeping the work area clean and safe
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment 
• Positive, “can-do” attitude
• PPT experience 
• Willingness to work in chilled or freezer areas
• Understanding of Health & Safety standards
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good literacy and numeracy
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a DBS check
