Job Description
On behalf of our client, an exciting challenger brand within the UK leisure sector, we are currently seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join the team at a particularly exciting stage of growth. The business creates destination-led leisure venues that bring together hospitality, cinema, and entertainment under one roof, offering guests a unique experience. With a strong emphasis on quality across every aspect of the customer and employee journey, this brand has built a reputation for delivering engaging and memorable experiences
For this Senior Interior Designer role, you will be confident in developing ideas from early creative concepts through to detailed design, and experienced in leading projects through to completion. Strong communication and project management skills within hospitality design are essential, along with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors and architects. The role also requires occasional travel to UK project sites for meetings and coordination. A solid understanding of UK Building Regulations is required.
Your portfolio should clearly demonstrate experience across hospitality projects, with strong proficiency in Vectorworks (2D–3D) essential, alongside the ability to produce 3D visuals using Vectorworks or SketchUp.
The ideal candidate will be a highly creative and passionate designer with a proven track record of delivering projects end-to-end. You should have a strong interest in leisure interiors and current design trends, combined with a consistent and considered approach to your work. You will be confident working both independently as a problem solver and collaboratively within a team, always striving for high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include working across projects from proposal through to installation (RIBA Stages 1–4), researching and selecting materials and finishes, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. You will support FF&E specification and procurement, and contribute to the integration of design concepts throughout each project. You will also be expected to resolve design issues both internally and in collaboration with external consultants, while maintaining a strong working knowledge of furniture, finishes, and lighting.
If this sounds like it might be of interest, then we would love to hear from you with your CV and portfolio of work.
