SEND Primary Teacher - ASAP Entire Summer Term

Are you a qualified Special Needs Teacher (with QTS and UK experience) looking for work in an outstanding special needs school?
Pertemps Education are currently recruiting for a Special Needs Primary Teacher with experience in Social Emotional Mental Health Learning difficulties, mainly with Autism Spectrum disorder and anxiety. This will be to work with Primary KS1 and KS2 students. The school is located Between Attleborough and Thetford. This role is for an immediate start and will last for a minimum time period until the end of the summer term (July 2024).  

Here are the details of the role:

• Working in the Norfolk countryside
• Special Needs Teacher with experience in SEMH, mainly with Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Teaching KS1 KS2 students
• Small class sizes – maximum of 10 
• In-class support from teaching assistants & outdoor learning
• Temporary contract (term time only)
• Must be qualified with QTS
• 08:30-16:00 from Monday to Friday
• £170+ per day (depending on experience)
• Planning and delivering lessons - this is not necesserily essential but the pay rate will be less.
• Interaction with parents and the senior leadership team

The school is a specialist within therapy intervention, with many medical professionals on site, and a lot of open activity space to engage with such as state of the art outdoor jungle & climbing equipment.
