The Role
- Support the learning and development of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Deliver engaging play-based activities that promote learning across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
- Foster a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support children's communication, language, social and emotional development.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress in partnership with the class teacher.
- Encourage independence, positive behaviour and strong relationships with peers.
- Build positive partnerships with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Experience working within an Early Years setting, such as a nursery, preschool or primary school.
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is preferred.
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
