Key Responsibilities:
- Complete specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for children and young people
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to promote independence
- Recommend and arrange provision of equipment, home adaptations, and specialist seating
- Carry out manual handling assessments and develop safe handling plans
- Conduct environmental assessments to support daily living and accessibility
- Work collaboratively with children, families, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Support children’s development, learning, play, and social inclusion
- Assess carers’ needs and ensure appropriate support is identified and provided
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant HCPC registration
- Experience working within paediatric or children’s services
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice within Children’s Social Care
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently
