Working Arrangements: Hybrid, 30 Hours per Week
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a Fostering Support Team on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for a social worker with current fostering experience who is passionate about supporting foster carers and ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people in care.

About the role:
- Provide ongoing support, supervision, and guidance to foster carers.
- Manage a caseload of fostering households, ensuring statutory requirements are met.
- Undertake foster carer reviews, assessments, and support visits.
- Work closely with children, foster carers, families, and partner agencies to promote placement stability.
- Contribute to care planning and permanency planning for children in foster care.
- Identify support needs and coordinate appropriate interventions and services.
- Complete accurate assessments, reports, and case recordings within required timescales.
- Participate in meetings, reviews, and multi-agency discussions.
- Ensure safeguarding concerns are managed effectively and in line with statutory guidance.
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Current experience working within a Fostering Team is essential.
- Candidates without current fostering social work experience will not be considered.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of fostering regulations, safeguarding legislation, and statutory guidance.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
