Location: Southend
Salary: £40,444 – £46,579 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Working Arrangements: Hybrid working is available, but they must be on site minimum 2 days a week
Contract: Permanent

Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for a Children’s Social Worker to join a Families First Team in Southend on a permanent basis.

As a Children’s Social Worker, you will work with children and families to assess their needs, manage risk and provide effective support and intervention. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within Children’s Social Care
• Experience in Child Protection (CP)
• Experience working with Looked After Children (LAC)
• Experience within Assessment & Intervention (A&I)
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Relevant Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England

About You:

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Must be registered with SWE and have completed their ASYE.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Must be a driver and have CP, LAC, A&I experience.
