Children’s Social Work, Parenting Assessors, East Midlands 
Pay rate to £20.50 per hour  
Contract roles county wide – Bolsover, Erewash, Chesterfield  
 
We are recruiting for experienced Parenting Assessors in Derbyshire. 
You will need to have a relevant Social Care Qualification (usually level 3 Childcare or Child Development, Health & Social Care, or similar) for these roles. 
You will also need to have  

• Experience assessing the needs of children and families. 

• Experience working with families facing emotional, personal or practical difficulties. 

• Strong report writing and analytical abilities. 

• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and child-focused planning. 

• Your own transport as the work is spread around the county of Derbyshire. 

 
This role would suit an experienced Family Support Worker, or may also suit a Newly Qualified Children’s Social Worker looking to get some paid experience in a Local Authority. 
This is to work across various Children’s Centres across the county 
You will need to have a relevant Social Care Qualification (usually level 3 Childcare or Child Development, Health & Social Care, or similar).
