Children’s Social Worker, Fostering, Advanced Practitioner, Wigan 
Pay rate £40 per hour 
Contract role, Supervising Social Worker, Advanced Practitioner 
 
We are recruiting for experienced Children’s Social Worker in the Wigan area. 

• To guide, advise, support and supervise foster carers who are supporting complex placements 

• To support the supervision of staff as per allocation of the Team Manager 

• To participate in duty manager day duty rota one week at a time and cover in staff absence 

• To QA annual foster carer reviews, supervisory visits and unannounced visits of staff within you supervisory group 

• To support the team manager as per requests 

• To ensure that the teams compliance remains of a consistently high level using the database to support this.
