Pay rate to £23.10 per hour

We are recruiting for an experienced Anti Social Behaviour Support Officer in the Manchester area. 
About the Team / Service 

• You will be part of the Community Safety, Compliance and Enforcement Service which sits within the Growth and Neighbourhoods Directorate. You will report to an ASB Team Lead. 

• You and your colleagues will actively contribute to multi-agency working and problem solving though integrated neighbourhood management alongside partners including the police, fire service, support services, voluntary & community sector, business forums and other Council teams.   

About the Candidate  

• We are looking for motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus. Your skills enable you to effectively communicate with other professionals, victims, witnesses and ASB perpetrators. You can demonstrate active listening, empathy and assertiveness. 

• You will be comfortable engaging with people face to face on the street, at their place of work or in their home and participating in multi-agency meetings.  Our approach involves prevention, early intervention and enforcement including formal requirements to engage with support services. You will be confident in delivering informal and formal interventions. 

• You will have an understanding of ASB legislation and how it is applied to protect victims and witnesses. You will have the ability to contribute to actions plans to help resolve local problems and escalate any risks to your line manager. 

• You will need to be flexible and willing to work shifts between the hours of 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday. 

• You also need to possess a full driving licence and be willing to drive our partnership van. 

 
This is a contract role, and you will need to have experience in a similar role.
