Long-Term Opportunity | Potential to Increase to 5 Days Per Week After October Half Term
EYFS PPA Teacher – Lambeth, SW2 An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Lambeth (SW2) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS PPA Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for a part-time role within a supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will initially work 3 days per week, delivering engaging and creative lessons across the Early Years Foundation Stage to cover teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. There is a strong possibility that the role will increase to 5 days per week following the October half-term break, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking a longer-term position with increased responsibility.
The Role
  • Deliver high-quality EYFS lessons across Nursery and Reception classes.
    • Provide engaging learning experiences that support children's development and progress.
    • Maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
    • Follow school policies and procedures while ensuring excellent behaviour management.
    • Work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and senior leaders.
    • Monitor and support pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
    • Has recent experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
    • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
    • Has a creative and nurturing teaching approach.
    • Is reliable, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupil achievement.
    • Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
