Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Start Date: 7th September 2026
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Inner London Teachers' Pay Scale 2026/27 (£41,739 - £64,864) + SEN Allowance

SEN Teacher Required - Specialist Deaf SEND School in Wandsworth A highly respected specialist Deaf SEND school in Wandsworth is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from 7th September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who have experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and possess either British Sign Language (BSL) knowledge or a recognised BSL qualification. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach within one of the following settings:
  • Year 7 Classroom
    • Year 8 to Year 10 Classroom
    • Sixth Form Classroom

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
    • Experience teaching pupils with SEND.
    • Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) or a recognised BSL qualification.
    • A passion for supporting deaf learners and helping them reach their full potential.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners.
