Pay: £545 – £550 per week
Role Overview We are recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Lambeth (SW2), supporting pupils with very severe autism and complex needs.
This role is suited to a calm, resilient, and nurturing SEN TA who is confident working with high‑needs pupils, including personal care, and who understands the importance of consistency, structure, and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and in‑class support for pupils with severe autism and complex needs
- Support pupils with personal care, ensuring dignity and safeguarding at all times
- Follow EHCPs and individual support plans
- Support communication, emotional regulation, and engagement
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SEN team
- Proven experience supporting children with severe autism / high SEN needs
- Comfortable with personal care
- Experience within a primary school or SEN setting
- Calm, patient, and reliable approach
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Supportive and experienced SEN team
- Clear routines and structured support
- £545 – £550 per week, paid weekly
