Pertemps Education are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Watford, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a flexible role, with the school offering two days per week and flexibility on which days are worked. The successful candidate will join a nurturing environment where high-quality teaching and positive relationships are at the heart of everything they do.
The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that promote excellent progress and outcomes.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best possible educational experience for pupils.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Has experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community.
