Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Cardiff City Centre
£25,000 - £26,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission
Monday–Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
We are looking for a driven Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our busy industrial and driving recruitment division. Full training will be provided, with clear opportunities for progression and earnings growth.
Key responsibilities:
  • Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the industrial and driving sectors
    • Making outbound sales calls to introduce our services and arrange meetings
    • Attending client visits alongside experienced consultants
    • Assisting with negotiating terms and rates
    • Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline using our CRM system
    • Supporting the management of existing client accounts
    • Responding to booking requests quickly and professionally
    • Helping resolve client queries and operational issues
    • Supporting service reviews and maintaining strong relationships
    • Sourcing candidates via job boards, advertising, referrals, and database searches
    • Conducting telephone screenings and candidate registrations
    • Completing right-to-work and compliance checks
    • Supporting temporary bookings and shift coordination
    • Ensuring candidate files meet legal and company compliance standards
    • Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
    • Assisting with timesheets and payroll administration
What we’re looking for:
  • A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Experience in a customer-facing role
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment
    • Knowledge of employee rights, equality, diversity, and inclusion is a plus
    • Ideally, a valid UK driving licence
