We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within children’s services.
 
This is a new post for the Head of Safeguarding, Quality & Practice within Rotherham Children’s Services, reporting to the Strategic Director for Children and families, and requiring a range of skills to perform the required duties.
 
The post holder will have responsibility for the effective and efficient operation and delivery of a function or cluster of services which have a direct impact on partnership working, quality assurance, performance, learning and workforce, and wider supportive and complimentary services including voice and participation, therapeutic support and FGC.
 
You will champion and drive the quality of social work practice across Children and Young People’s Services, working with services, workforce development and other internal and external partners to ensure the continued improvement in services, supporting innovation and good practice.
 
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that the successful candidate will work a minimum of 3 days per week in the borough.
