*** Teaching Geography through the national curriculum at KS3 & KS4
 
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a dynamic geography department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a diverse and enthusiastic student body, inspiring a lifelong curiosity about the world around them.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailored to the needs of individual students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported in their studies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and resources, ensuring they remain current and engaging.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular learning experiences and enrichment opportunities.
 
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
  • Proven experience in delivering effective and engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
