An exciting opportunity awaits at an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' secondary school located in Hodge Hill for a dynamic and passionate Physics ECT (Early Career Teacher). As a Physics ECT, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in accordance with the UK national curriculum for Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4. You will join a dedicated science department committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for physics among students.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote conceptual understanding and scientific inquiry.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessment methods, providing timely feedback to support their learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching approaches and enrichment activities.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities to promote the study of physics and STEM subjects within the school community.
