The Role:
Provide day-to-day classroom support across a Year 4 class, working with pupils individually, in small groups, and as part of whole-class learning. You will help reinforce learning in English, Maths, and wider curriculum subjects, support classroom routines, prepare simple resources, and work closely with the class teacher to help pupils stay engaged and make progress.
The Candidate:
You are organised, encouraging, and able to explain ideas clearly to primary-aged pupils. You want meaningful school-based experience, enjoy helping children build confidence in their learning, and are keen to play a practical role in supporting progress across the school day.
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Career Goals – A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.
