The Role
A secondary school in Solihull is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students' confidence in numeracy, algebra, geometry, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for GCSE Mathematics, supporting learners of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Working within a supportive Maths department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. You will contribute to raising standards of achievement while inspiring students to develop confidence and enjoyment in mathematics.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold QTS or be an ECT
    • Have experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
    • Be confident delivering GCSE Maths content
    • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
    • Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
    • Have a positive, engaging, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
