Occupational Therapist, Manchester City Council
Pay rate to £35 per hour
Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Occupational Therapist to work in Manchester City Council.
We are looking for an OT with housing adaptations experience who can assess people in their own home for adaptations.
Work will also consist of matching applicants to available adapted homes and undertaking viewings to homes with these applicants.
The role is hybrid with min of 2 office days and travel across GM on other days. home and hybrid working - assessing applicants in their home for housing priority.
The role holder will ensure that through effective advice, planning and support and the utilisation of ‘joined up’ approaches, individuals are able to access housing that meets their needs. The role holder will work to provide direct support for individuals and families in accordance effectively identifying cases and/or managing a caseload in order to secure positive housing outcomes for Manchester residents.
Effectively manage and be accountable for a caseload of cases through advice and guidance to improve outcomes for individuals and associated parties through positive rehousing outcomes.
The role holder will visit customers, both children and adults, at home to carry out medical assessments for priority for moving and to complete reports. To give high quality advice on the rehousing options available. To manage and find solutions for complex cases.
