Qualified Social Worker, Kinship Team, Tameside Council
Pay rate to £35 per hour
Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in a Kinship Team in Tameside Council.
We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Assessing Social Worker to join our Kinship Team, playing a vital role in helping children remain connected to their families and support networks. In this rewarding role, you'll undertake comprehensive assessments of kinship carers and special guardians, ensuring children can achieve safe, stable, and nurturing family-based care arrangements. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, family members, and carers, carrying out direct work and contributing to care planning that reflects each child's unique needs and circumstances. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners, you'll support families through the assessment process, provide advice and guidance, prepare high-quality reports for court and decision-making panels, and ensure all statutory responsibilities are met. Alongside maintaining excellent records and professional standards, you'll contribute to the ongoing development of the service and help achieve the best possible outcomes for children.
