Qualified Social Worker, Family Safeguarding Team, Leicestershire Council
Pay rate £38 per hour
Contract role
Vitalis are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work in a Family Safeguarding Team in Leicestershire Council.
Key Responsibilities: To manage a full case load of a mix of Child Protection and Looked After children (LAC) cases. Some cases will be in the PLO process and progress to court, so an ability to write court statements is a necessity. An understanding of court processes is also needed. To be able to critically analyse cases and make informed decisions and speak to professionals at all levels. To chair complex meetings. Work independently and as part of a busy team.
Key Experience: Front line children’s social worker. With experience in CP, CIN, LAC, court proceedings including writing court statements (Initial and Final SWET’s, S7 & S37 and Care plans).
Average case holding: 18
